| Synopsis | Dizi, the Chinese flute made of bamboo, is famous for its distinctive resonant sound. This piece that is going to be performed by The Triplets has been rearranged specially for this festival, and it aims to showcase the more contemporary side of Chinese music. You will hear a medley rearranged with the more popular songs from the Western, Malay, Chinese and Indian cultures. |

| Synopsis | The blending of different materials in Malay traditional costumes is presented in this symbolic item of interweaving the different fabrics for different occasions and different purposes. This dance shows the process of weaving fabric from silk worms or cotton plants into the Malay songket, tenun and batik. |

| Synopsis | From sarong to saris, from the cheongsam to the ao dai, Singapore is certainly at the crossroads of the world of fashion. Though most Singaporeans do not wear their traditional dress every day, they do indulge in dressing up every now and then, especially during important occasion such as weddings, birthday celebrations or the New Year. These dresses are often worn traditional; they can also be “inspired” from the traditional wear. Some people would even cross-reference between cultures to design something more adventurous. This exclusive fashion show will showcase a range of clothes that are traditional, inspired by the traditional as well as the forward-looking. |
