'Sweet Heritage Treats 2009' will showcase sweet goodies and desserts from various local Malay ethnic enclaves such as the Javanese, Boyanese, Arab and Minang. It will also promote various traditional food such as Nasi Lemak, Nasi Ambeng, Roti Jala, Mee Mydin and fruits related to the Malay community including the all-time favourite durian, rambutan, duku and pulasan.
For those with a sweet tooth, this event is sinfully sweet not to miss! Savour some sweet desserts from the sweet porridge family like Bubor Terigu, Bubor Cha Cha, Bubor Pengat Pisang, Bubor Pulut Hitam and Bubor Kacang.
Look out for fun-filled activities and take part in 'Decorate a Fruit Basket Competition' and 'Karaoke Singing Contest' on the theme of food.
