Form + Reform – 6th Ngee Ann 3D Art Exhibition 2009

Ngee Ann Cultural Centre (NACC) is actively promoting awareness and appreciation of the art culture at all levels. Being part of the thriving art community, NACC is wholly dedicated in creating an even more active and vibrant local art scene.

With these, NACC is proud to present, "Form + Reform – 6th Ngee Ann 3D Art Exhibition 2009". This year’s exhibition has its focus on the creation of new works and the improvisation of older pieces of artworks into new masterpieces, enabling the breathing of new life into old bodies. The main elements being considered for acceptance in this exhibition consists of clay, wood, stone and metal.

NACC is honored to have 10 renowned local artists grace our event by exhibiting their masterpieces. They are currently; Michael Ong, Vincent Lim, Ong Kok Peng, Jacqueline Ng, Peter Low, Jason Lim, Lim Soo Ngee, Sim Lian Huat, Wee Kong Chai and Nelson Lim.

Participation and admission is free and open to public.

Entry Forms are available for download at www.ngeeann.com.sg and the Security Counter at 97 Tank Road, Teochew Building, Singapore 238066 daily from 8am to 10pm.

1st Ngee Ann Photography Competition & Exhibition 2009

12 – 28 June 2009(Free admission)

Ngee Ann Photography Exhibition has been an annual event since 2005, and in its fifth year, Ngee Ann Cultural Centre (NACC) decided to up the excitement level a notch by organizing the 1st Ngee Ann Photography Competition & Exhibition.

The competition aims at cultivating an all-rounded photographer, thus explaining the limitation of 4 prints per set (up to a maximum of 2 sets) per participant, with each of the picture being of a different specified theme.

With the prizes more than $10,000.00, NACC hopes to not only provide a platform for all aspiring photographers to showcase their artworks, but actually provide the needed monetary encouragement, for the photographers to pursue their passion.

Artworks of winners and selected entries will be showcased in the 16 days exhibition that follows. Participation and admission is free and open to public.
