'Baba Bling: The Peranakans & Their Jewellery' is a special exhibition that will feature some of the finest jewellery from the collections of the Peranakan Museum, Peranakan families and private collectors. The exhibits will consist of functional jewellery pieces, to ornate ones from the 19th century to the present. Visitors will be able to understand the evolution of jewellery in the Peranakan community and the strong cultural influences from the East and West.
If jewellery is your cup of tea, then come feast your eyes on some of the largest kerosangs (signature brooches) and rarely seen Peranakan jewellery!
